Problem: How to set the project properties of a SSIS package to Debug in 32-bit or 64-bit mode?

Solution: Some times when you run the SSIS package from BIDS designer we get some errors complaining about the Provider connections when connections are made they hit authentication as 64-bit as default. You might see the following error at times.

How to overcome is simple in SSIS project right click on the project from the solution explorer and click on the properties to go to the configuration properties and select the debugging mode and in the debug options change the Run64BitTime to False.
